9ct Gold Great War Royal Air Force Officers cap badge sweetheart broach. This badge became the Warrant Officers cap badge in 1918, after being used as the Officers cap badge for several months following the formation of the RAF in April 1918. Due to it's manufacture in gold, I think it more likely an Officers sweetheart, rather than for an O.R.
